ISLANDVIEW HEIGHTS
Islandview Heights is a charming, vintage-to-modern, 8-townhome development at the corner of Field
and Kercheval, in Detroit.
Its gracious symmetry, impeccable brick exterior, and welcoming covered front porches give this development a visual sense of belonging to the built environment. Although the homes are modern and pristine in their systems, finishes, and appliances, glimpses of their original charm shine through.
The gleaming wood floors throughout are reconditioned but original, showing the classic patina that can only come with time. The wood staircases, wainscoting, bay windows, and wood trim are also fully restored details from the original construction in the early 20th century.
VINTAGE-TO-MODERN
There are features here, not commonly found in new construction condominium developments of today. The all-brick exterior is restored to mint condition and is built to last another 100 years or more. The main level common areas have distinct areas for dining living room, and kitchen. The floorplans have been opened up to show the flow of the space, while allowing enough wall space to accommodate a well-appointed household of furniture.
SPACIOUS
These townhome condominiums are laid out on three levels, including a bright, semi-finished lower level that could function as a wine cellar, an exercise area, or a hobby room. They all have 3 bedrooms, and either 1 or 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. A model is available to view and occupancy is flexible depending on which unit you select.

CHARMING & CREATIVE VILLAGES
Islandview and the Greater Villages of Detroit (also called IVGV) is a quaint collection of adjacent neighborhoods north of E. Jefferson, from the entrance to Belle Isle, spanning from Grand Blvd., eleven blocks to the east.
Within this area you can find independent coffee shops, fine dining establishments, fitness studios, public parks, boutiques, and public art. The esteemed Murals in the Market event, a celebration of Detroit muralists, has just re-branded itself Murals Islandview, due to a shift in the creative epicenter from Eastern Market to the Islandview neighborhood.
Islandview and the Greater Villages of Detroit include Islandview, West Village, East Village, and of course, Indian Village. Here is a link to their community website.
